| Gene Description | APP, amyloid beta precursor protein, is a transmembrane protein that is cleaved to form peptides with a variety of functions, including cell growth and cell adherence (PMID: 25491510, PMID: 30500566). An APP-NRG1 fusion has been identified in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29802158) and App overexpression in breast cancer cell lines promotes cell proliferation (PMID: 25491510). | ||||||||||||
