Gene Description EPOP, Elongin BC and polycomb repressive complex 2 associated protein, encodes a chromatin regulator that interacts with PRC2, Elongin BC, and USP7 to modulate transcription of genes involved in cell survival and development (PMID: 27863226, PMID: 27863225). Mutations in EPOP have been identified in lung and thyroid tumors (PMID: 24670920), and increase Epop expression has been identified in multiple tumors (PMID: 27863226).
