| Gene Description | PARP3, poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase family member 3, is a mono-ADP-ribosylase that activates Parp1 and demonstrates auto and trans-ADP ribosylation activity (PMID: 15273990, PMID: 20064938, PMID: 28202539), and plays a role in cellular response to DNA damage (PMID: 21270334, PMID: 25017100) and non-homologous end joining (PMID: 21211721), and potentially, regulation of cell cycle progression (PMID: 12640039). Increased PARP3 expression has been identified in several tumor types (PMID: 34976832), including breast cancer (PMID: 30344717) and glioblastoma (PMID: 26040766). | ||||||||||
