| Gene Description | CDH6, cadherin-6, is also known as kidney-cadherin, K-cadherin, and plays a role in mesenchymal-epithelial differentiation of the kidney during embryogenesis (PMID: 24069422). Overexpression of Cdh6 has been observed in osteosarcoma (PMID: 29628305) and may contribute to lymph node metastasis and decreased survival in oral squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 29805672), however Cdh6 has been demonstrated to have a tumor suppressive function in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 27593557). | ||||||||||
