| Gene Description | UBA2, ubiquitin like modifier activating enzyme 2, is a subunit of the E1 enzyme involved in activation of sumoylation (PMID: 11481243, PMID: 38682183). A UBA2-WTIP fusion has been identified in acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 30179602) and increased expression of Uba2 has been observed in glioma (PMID: 38682183), gastric cancer (PMID: 30479464), colorectal cancer (PMID: 30387828), and clear cell renal cell carcinoma (PMID: 34753901). | ||||||||||||
