Gene Description CDH17, cadherin 17, is a member of the 7D subfamily of cadherin proteins that plays a role in cell adhesion (PMID: 31324051, PMID: 20580775) and intestinal peptide transport (PMID: 8153632). Alternative splicing and overexpression of CDH17 has been observed in hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 15701831), and increased CDH17 expression has been demonstrated in gastric cancer (PMID: 24465527, PMID: 15178443).
