| Gene Description | MBNL2, muscleblind like splicing regulator 2, encodes an RNA-binding protein that regulates pre-mRNA splicing and intracellular mRNA localization (PMID: 16273094, PMID: 16533306, PMID: 22901804), and plays a role in brain development (PMID: 22884328, PMID: 34848815) and skeletal muscle function (PMID: 18213585, PMID: 24293317). An MBNL2-BRAF fusion has been identified in pancreatic cancer (PMID: 34476331) and decreased expression of MBNL2 has been observed in colorectal cancer (PMID: 33893082). | ||||||||||
