Gene Description IRAG1, inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate receptor associated 1, encodes a protein involved in IP3-mediated intracellular calcium signaling (PMID: 10724174) and plays a role in the regulation of smooth muscle contractility (PMID: 15483626, PMID: 20080989) and platelet activation (PMID: 16990611, PMID: 21244222). An IRAG1 fusion with FGFR2 has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 38710951) and decreased expression of IRAG1 has been identified in cervical cancer (PMID: 35141152).
