| Gene Description | HAX1, HCLS1 associated protein X-1, encodes an antiapoptotic protein belonging to the HAX-1 family of proteins (PMID: 21302289), which plays a role in several cellular processes (PMID: 37454914), including cell death regulation (PMID: 18971376, PMID: 15371414), cell migration (PMID: 31644363 ), and calcium homeostasis (PMID: 19920172, PMID: 17241641). Increased HAX1 expression has been identified in several tumor types (PMID: 20196840), including breast cancer (PMID: 20196840, PMID: 26885017), non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 32926529), colorectal cancer (PMID: 26062578), and nasopharyngeal carcinoma (PMID: 26871467). | ||||||||||||
