Gene Description CCT2, chaperonin containing TCP1 subunit 2, is a component the molecular chaperone T-complex protein 1 Ring complex (TRiC), which functions in telomere maintenance (PMID: 25467444, PMID: 25704758). Overexpression of Cct2 has been observed in small cell lung cancer (PMID: 29299146) and in extracellular vesicles in glioblastoma (PMID: 30451371).
