Gene Description SORBS1, sorbin and SH3 domain containing 1, also known as CAP/ponsin is an adaptor protein that regulates insulin signaling, cell adhesion, and cell motility (PMID: 27791200). Decreased expression in breast cancer may promote tumorigenesis and decreased sensitivity to cisplatin (PMID: 27791200), and an FGFR2-SORBS1 fusion has been reported in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 31109923).
