Gene Description NPRL2, NPR2 like, GATOR1 complex subunit, encodes a tumor suppressor (PMID: 15374952) that plays a role in hematopoiesis and methionine homeostasis (PMID: 26166573), aerobic glycolysis and the TCA cycle (PMID: 29768191), and inhibits Pdk1 and downstream Src/Pdk1 signaling (PMID: 18616680). Decreased NPRL2 expression has been observed in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 20193080), clear cell renal cancer (PMID: 24789683), and colon cancer (PMID: 23079973).
