| Gene Description | TBR1, T-box brain transcription factor 1, is a neuron-specific transcription factor involved in brain development through regulation of neuronal polarization and migration, axon formation (PMID: 35781633), and neuronal subtype specification and morphology (PMID: 35781633, PMID: 20807572). Mutations in TBR1 have been observed in medulloblastoma (PMID: 22832583) and methylation of TBR1 has been observed in lung cancer (PMID: 38883836) and renal cell cancer (PMID: 32070431). | ||||||||||||
