| Gene Description | EHMT2, euchromatic histone-lysine N-methyltransferase 2, is a methyltransferase involved in dimethylation of histone H3 at lysine 9, which is associated with gene repression (PMID: 23466651). Overexpression of Ehmt2 is associated with several tumor types (PMID: 27748874, PMID: 24832370), including breast cancer (PMID: 29337058), and with aggressive tumor behavior in melanoma (PMID: 24658378). | ||||||||||
