| Gene Description | PTPRT, protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type T, is a member of the type IIB receptor protein tyrosine phosphatase subfamily, and acts as a tumor suppressor by dephosphorylating proteins involved in cell proliferation, migration, growth, and survival (PMID: 17360477, PMID: 20133777, PMID: 21517784). PTPRT inactivating mutations have been associated with colorectal, lung, and gastric cancers (PMID: 15155950). | ||||||||||||
