Gene Description PIK3AP1, phosphoinositide-3-kinase adaptor protein 1, activates PI3K/AKT upon TLR signaling to negatively regulate B-cell inflammatory signaling (PMID: 22187458, PMID: 22187460) and may play a role in memory T cell development (PMID: 30093532). PIK3AP1 deletions have been identified in adult ALL (PMID: 25261097) and glioblastoma multiforme (PMID: 25502460), and mutations have been observed in early onset luminal breast cancer (PMID: 29854292).
