Gene Description FAT3, FAT atypical cadherin 3, is a transmembrane receptor that functions in cell-cell adhesion and interacts with the actin cytoskeleton (PMID: 27942226, PMID: 23493187). Decreased Fat3 expression has been observed in advanced lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 19812696) and somatic mutations in pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma (PMID: 25743105).
