Gene Description LRIG3, leucine-rich repeats and immunoglobulin-like domains 3, is one of three members of the LRIG gene family (PMID: 31245283) and is a mono-transmembrane protein that may be involved in regulating growth factor receptor signaling (PMID: 25183430, PMID: 29246624). Decreased expression of Lrig3 has been associated with favorable prognosis in a variety of cancer types (PMID: 25180912), including glioblastoma (PMID: 31245283), and a LRIG3-ROS1 fusion has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 25667280).
