| Gene Description | KLF6, KLF transcription factor 6, encodes a member of the Kruppel-like factors family of transcription factors (PMID: 32998281) that plays a role in cellular proliferation and differentiation (PMID: 16234353, PMID: 15917248), development (PMID: 28246209), and inflammation (PMID: 40534851, PMID: 24385430, PMID: 29459900). Inactivation of KLF6 through mutation, loss of heterozygosity, alternative splicing, or decreased expression has been identified in several tumor types (PMID: 19097929), including prostate cancer (PMID: 11752579), colorectal cancer (PMID: 16856969, PMID: 15057748), hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 15486921), and astrocytic glioma (PMID: 12740910). | ||||||||||||
