Gene Description CREB1, cAMP responsive element binding protein 1, encodes for a transcription factor, which upon phosphorylation, induces cellular gene transcription in part via the CREB-binding protein/p300 paralog (PMID: 15753290). CREB1 fusions with EWSR1 have been observed in primary pulmonary myxoid sarcoma (PMID: 25134518) and angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma (PMID: 35568279).
