| Gene Description | FOXR2, forkhead box R2, is a forkhead transcription factor involved in activation of ETS transcription circuits, transformation (PMID: 35802025), proliferation (PMID: 27346356), and metastasis (PMID: 39866234). Chromosomal rearrangements involving FOXR2 have been identified in FOXR2-activated CNS neuroblastoma (PMID: 26919435), a PHF1-FOXR2 fusion has been identified in ossifying fibromyxoid tumor (PMID: 36648026), and aberrant expression of Foxr2 has been observed in numerous adult and pediatric tumor types (PMID: 35802025, PMID: 39866234), including medulloblastoma (PMID: 24599127), CNS embryonal tumors (PMID: 30976792), and ovarian cancer (PMID: 29943836). | ||||||||||||
