| Gene Description | SESN3, sestrin 3, is a FoxO transcription factor target gene that regulates oxidative stress response (PMID: 22349704, PMID: 17510393, PMID: 19061837), inhibits mTORC1 signaling (PMID: 20412774), and plays a role in several signaling pathways including Wnt/Beta-catenin (PMID: 34409922), TGF-beta (PMID: 31215672), and mTORC2 (PMID: 25377878). SESN3 methylation has been identified in endometrial cancer (PMID: 17504987), increased expression of SESN3 has been identified in progressive prostate cancer (PMID: 38077153), and reduced expression of SESN3 has been observed in liver cancer (PMID: 34409922). | ||||||||||
