Gene Description CSF2RB, colony stimulating factor 2 receptor subunit beta, encodes the common beta chain of the IL-3, IL-5, and GM-CSF cytokine receptor complexes, which is required for signal transduction and plays a role in hematopoietic cell proliferation, differentiation, survival, and immune response (PMID: 17027509, PMID: 1833064, PMID: 23535386). Mutations in CSF2RB have been identified in breast cancer (PMID: 34729943) and leukemia (PMID: 27118405).
