Gene Description PLEKHA7, pleckstrin homology domain containing A, localizes to the apical zonula adherens in epithelial cells to inhibit growth through indirect regulation of p120 catenin, CTNNB1 (PMID: 26302406). Decreased expression of PLEKHA7 has been observed in high grade ductal carcinomas and in lobular carcinomas (PMID: 26270346) and a PLEKHA7-ALK fusion has been identified in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 29883838).
