Gene Description CSNK1A1, casein kinase 1 alpha 1, encodes a member of the CK1 protein family that functions as a signaling molecule involved in multiple cellular processes including proliferation, autophagy, cell survival, and immune response, and plays a role in the regulation of the Wnt and Hedgehog signaling pathways, Tp53, and Nf-kappaB (PMID: 29793495, PMID: 28969692).
