Gene Description DHX9, DExH-box helicase 9, encodes for a nucleotide triphosphate-dependent helicase protein that plays a role in a variety of regulatory processes, including DNA replication, transcription, translation, RNA processing and transport, and microRNA processing (PMID: 27034008). Overexpression of DHX9 has been observed in lung cancer and osteosarcoma (PMID: 27034008), and DHX9 fused to RAF1 has been identified in triple-negative breast cancer (PMID: 29203461).
