| Gene Description | GSDME, gasdermin E, is a member of the gasdermin family of protein and plays a role in mediating pyroptosis (PMID: 28459430, PMID: 31953257), and regulating apoptosis (PMID: 30976076). GSDME mutations have been identified in several tumor types (PMID: 32188940), and increased GSMDE promoter methylation has been observed in breast cancer (PMID: 29682089) and colorectal cancer (PMID: 30993897). | ||||||||||
