Gene Description DNMT1, DNA methyltransferase 1, is a epigenetic modifier that methylates DNA during replication to preserve parental methylation patterns (PMID: 20234167, PMID: 30544982). Overexpression of Dnmt1 has been commonly observed in hematological malignancies (PMID: 20234167), including acute myeloid leukemia (PMID: 31105426).
