Gene Description EEF1G, eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 gamma, is a subunit of elongation factor 1 complex, which is involved in translation elongation during protein synthesis (PMID: 24732582, PMID: 22555874). An EEF1G-ROS1 fusion has been identified in infantile astrocytoma (PMID: 35395680) and EEF1G-ALK has been identified in anaplastic large cell lymphoma (PMID: 27840423), and increased EEG1G expression has been demonstrated in glioma and hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 31639400).
