| Gene Description | FAAP20, FA core complex associated protein 20, is a component of the Fanconi anemia (FA) core complex that stabilizes FANCA (PMID: 30882047, PMID: 22396592), and plays a role in repair of DNA interstrand crosslinks (PMID: 22396592, PMID: 22705371, PMID: 22343915), and in homology-directed repair of DNA double-strand breaks (PMID: 37620397). FAAP20 mutations have been identified in melanoma (PMID: 33214570). | ||||||||||
