Gene Description | EPHA3, Ephrin type-A receptor 3, is an ephrin receptor tyrosine kinase involved in cell adhesion, migration, and epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (PMID: 23410976). Overexpression of Epha3 maintains tumor cells in a less differentiated state (PMID: 23410976), may be prognostic for gastric cancer progression (PMID: 28465671, PMID: 30066881, PMID: 24908114, PMID: 22350700), and Epha3 somatic mutations have been frequently observed in lung cancer (PMID: 22242939). | ||||||||||
