Gene Description EPHA5, EPH receptor A5, is an ephrin receptor tyrosine kinase involved in cell adhesion, migration, and axon guidance (PMID: 19326470). Epha5 has been demonstrated to be overexpressed in lung cancer (PMID: 25623065) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 31956298), while decreased expression in ovarian cancer has been associated with poor patient outcomes (PMID: 27887627).
