Gene Description

EPS15, epidermal growth factor receptor pathway substrate 15, is a putative dynamin-homolog that functions in recycling of endosomes from the plasma membrane (PMID: 32041776) and includes recycling of the EGFR receptor (PMID: 30214560). An EPS15-BRAF fusion has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 26314551), while Eps15 expression may play a role in angiogenesis in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 31023336) and overexpression in osteosarcoma has been associated with decreased survival (PMID: 30975166).

The web-based, subscription version, CKB BOOST™, includes more than 2000 cancer-related genes and is designed to interrogate the knowledgebase for specific data attributes while enabling a robust browse-like feature when the desired content is unknown.

Downloadable data from CKB is available using the FLEX version. CKB FLEX delivers CKB content as a flat file or JSON, enabling CKB data integration.
