| Gene Description | ERCC3, ERCC excision repair 3, TFIIH core complex helicase subunit, is an ATP-dependent 5’-3’ DNA helicase that plays a role in nucleotide excision repair and RNA transcription (PMID: 8157004). An ERCC3 nonsense mutation has been associated with breast cancer risk (PMID: 27655433) and ERCC3 mRNA expression is correlated with poor prognosis in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PMID: 27384421). | ||||||||||||
