Gene Description EYA2, EYA transcriptional coactivator and phosphatase 2, acts as a co-activator for SIX to regulate transactivation of target genes, and plays a role in regulation of DNA damage response (PMID: 22971774, PMID: 25555392). Overexpression of Eya2 has been demonstrated in several tumor types (PMID: 22971774), including epithelial ovarian cancer (PMID: 15705892) and prostate cancer (PMID: 31317026).
