Gene Description FGF8, fibroblast growth factor 8, is a member of the fibroblast growth factor family with multiple isoforms that play critical roles in embryogenesis and development via signaling through FGF family receptors (PMID: 21506104). FGF8 overexpression has been identified in colorectal (PMID: 25473897), breast (PMID: 10023681), and prostate cancers (PMID: 9605740).
