Gene Description

IKZF3, IKAROS family zinc finger 3, encodes the transcription factor Aiolos, which is involved in regulating gene expression and chromatin remodeling to control lymphocyte proliferation, differentiation, maturation, and survival (PMID: 10369681, PMID: 11997672, PMID: 21477865). IKZF3 mutations have been identified in chronic myeloid leukemia (PMID: 24212482), and overexpression of IKZF3 has been observed in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (PMID: 18184862, PMID: 19016725), multiple myeloma (PMID: 26823144), and lung cancer (PMID: 27308319).

Downloadable data from CKB is available using the FLEX version. CKB FLEX delivers CKB content as a flat file or JSON, enabling CKB data integration.
