Gene Description IKZF2, IKAROS family zinc finger 2, is a transcription factor involved in the development and function of regulatory T cells (PMID: 23428911, PMID: 26472910) and outer hair cells (PMID: 30464345). Overexpression of short IKZF2 isoforms has been observed in adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (PMID: 12648068, PMID: 17297655), and IKZF2-ERBB4 fusion has been identified in peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PMID: 34147695).
