| Gene Description | MRAS, muscle RAS oncogene homolog, is a member of the RAS family of GTPases (PMID: 9400994, PMID: 33130177) that activates RAF kinases and ERK1/2 (PMID: 16630891, PMID: 24211266), and plays a role in neuronal differentiation (PMID: 16923128), cell polarity, and migration (PMID: 24211266, PMID: 29311130). MRAS mutations have been identified in gastric cancer (PMID: 27891760), and Mras overexpression has been identified in breast, uterus and thyroid tumors (PMID: 15705894). | ||||||||||
