| Gene Description | USP33, ubiquitin specific peptidase 33, encodes a deubiquitinating enzyme that plays a role in several cellular functions including cell migration (PMID: 19706539), regulation of centrosome biogenesis (PMID: 23486064), Prkn-mediated mitophagy (PMID: 31432739), and receptor trafficking and recycling (PMID: 19363159, PMID: 19424180). Decreased USP33 expression has been observed in gastric cancer (PMID: 30896071), gastric adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29802710), papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 29533940), and lung cancer (PMID: 24981056), and a fusion with FGFR2 has been identified in cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 35176457). | ||||||||||
