Synonyms MRD39 | myT1-L | NZF1 | ZC2H2C2 | ZC2HC4B
Gene Description MYT1L, myelin transcription factor 1 like, is a neural zinc-finger transcription factor family member that likely plays a role in neural differentiation (PMID: 9373037, PMID: 24015200). Decreased expression of Myt1 has been associated with poor prognosis in medulloblastoma (PMID: 24252690), while overexpression has been associated with poor prognosis in non-functioning pituitary adenoma (PMID: 32015217), and a MYT1L-ALK fusion has been observed in non-small cell lung cancer (PMID: 30683295).
