| Gene Description | ERC1, ELKS/RAB6-interacting/CAST family member 1, is a regulatory subunit of the IKK complex (PMID: 15218148) that plays a role in cell motility (PMID: 31537859). An ERC1-RET fusion has been identified in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PMID: 12203787, PMID: 10697956), ERC1-ROS1 fusions have been identified in spitzoid neoplasms (PMID: 24445538) and lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 29780628), and an ERC1 fusion with ALK has been observed in non-small cell lung cancer patients with longer progression-free survival (PMID: 31243098). | ||||||||||
