| Gene Description | FPR1, formyl peptide receptor 1, encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that activates signaling pathways within neutrophils upon binding of peptides released during infection and tissue damage (PMID: 31336833, PMID: 25791526), thereby playing a role in neutrophil migration and inflammatory response (PMID: 25791526, PMID: 32102985, PMID: 24603667) and the regulation of host defense against microbial infection (PMID: 12401407, PMID: 32221037). Increased Fpr1 expression has been identified in cervical cancer (PMID: 30510453), gastric cancer (PMID: 24778024), and colorectal cancer (PMID: 28724995). | ||||||||||||
