Gene Description PAN3, poly(A) specific ribonuclease subunit PAN3, is a regulatory subunit of the poly(A)-nuclease (PAN) deadenylation complex, which removes the poly(A) tail from the 3' end of mRNA to trigger degradation and turnover (PMID: 28559491). A PAN3-NTRK2 fusion has been observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 25204415).
