Gene Description NUTM1, NUT midline carcinoma family member 1, is a nuclear protein only expressed in testis and has an unknown function (PMID: 31815119). NUTM1 fusions with BRD4 (t15;19) are commonly found in the NUT midline subset of squamous cell carcinomas (PMID: 12543779) and have been reported in soft tissue tumors (PMID: 29356724) and a number of other NUTM1 fusions have been reported in a variety of other tumor types (PMID: 32060986, PMID: 31888756, PMID: 31515871, PMID: 30872366).
