Gene Description CNTNAP2, contactin associated protein-like 2, is a member of the neurexin family and functions as a neural adhesion molecule and plays a role in nervous system development (PMID: 27621318). Decreased expression of CNTNAP2 has been observed in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 30267217) and promoter hypermethylation has been identified in pancreatic cancer (PMID: 18535405).
