Gene Description

FBXO2, F-box protein 2, encodes a component of the E3 ubiquitin ligase complex that mediates the ubiquitination and degradation of target glycoproteins (PMID: 26460611, PMID: 32549792), including those involved in regulating cell proliferation and migration (PMID: 29269301, PMID: 32984335). Overexpression of Fbxo2 has been identified in endometrial carcinoma (PMID: 32984335), and has been associated with increased metastasis in gastric (PMID: 29269301) and colorectal cancer (PMID: 31949582).

Downloadable data from CKB is available using the FLEX version. CKB FLEX delivers CKB content as a flat file or JSON, enabling CKB data integration.
