Gene Description MLH3, mutL homolog 3, is a DNA mismatch repair gene that dimerizes with MLH1 and localizes to centrosomes (PMID: 24333356, PMID: 25116689) and may play a role in triplet repeat DNA expansions (PMID: 32015124). MLH3 mutations have been associated with cervical squamous cell carcinoma (PMID: 24759751) and germline inactivating mutations have been reported in attenuated adenomatous polyposis (PMID: 30573798).
