Gene Description SND1, staphylococcal nuclease and tudor domain containing 1, has several cellular functions including transcriptional co-activation and regulation of RNA splicing and editing (PMID: 24918049, PMID: 25405367). SND1 overexpression has been demonstrated in several tumor types, including colon, hepatocellular, and prostate cancers (PMID: 17909068, PMID: 19435788, PMID: 24918049), and a SND1-BRAF fusion has been identified in lung adenocarcinoma (PMID: 25985019).
