| Gene Description | FILIP1, filamin A interacting protein 1, encodes a protein that regulates the degradation of filamin-A and filamin-C (PMID: 37178194, PMID: 15509752) and plays a role in the migration, cell polarity, and motility of cortical cells during corticogenesis (PMID: 15509752, PMID: 12055638), and in the differentiation of myoblasts during skeletal muscle development (PMID: 29618024, PMID: 37178194). FILIP1 fusions have been identified in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (PMID: 34551969), and invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lung (Cancer Res 2016;76(14 Suppl):Abstract nr 97). | ||||||||||
